The 2022 Athlete Coding Guide is now available and can be downloaded from the bottom of this page. 2022 codes are to be used from 5 January 2022.
The main changes in the 2022 Athlete Coding Guide are:
- Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG):
Stage 1 and Stage 2 levels have been decommissioned. At the start of 2022, GA will recode all athletes who were on these levels to Level 0 to allow coaches to assess whether each athlete is eligible to be moved to the new Development level (DEV) or if not age eligible, return to Level 4. Please note that the new Development level is restricted to athletes aged 8-10 years. For more information, please refer to pages 13-14 in the 2022 Athlete Coding Guide.
- Aerobic Gymnastics (AER):
Age Group 1 International (AGE1INT) and Age Group 2 International (AGE2INT) levels have been decommissioned due to a FIG Code of Points update. At the start of 2022, GA will recode any athletes who were on the AGE1INT level to the new Age Group (AGE) level and any athletes who were on AGE2INT level to the new Junior (JUNIOR) level.
- Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG):
Age grouping for Level 9 Under (9UNDER) has had an age change with Level 9 Under 17 years (including Level 9 Under 15) changing to Level 9 Under 18 years (including Level 9 Under 15).
